Guía de uso
Antes de comprar, identifica el tipo de unión y la medida que necesitas: rosca (1/2", 3/4"), compresión o enchufe para PVC/PPR. Verifica macho/hembra y el material del tubo (cobre, multicapa, PVC) para garantizar compatibilidad.
En sifones, comprueba el tipo (botella, tubular o flexible), la salida a pared o suelo y el diámetro (32/40 mm). En sumideros, define caudal, ubicación (ducha, terraza, patio) y material (PVC o inox). Para grifería y recambios, revisa paso de rosca, longitud del flexo y si el aireador es M24/M22.
Instalación: usa cinta PTFE o cáñamo con pasta en roscas, juntas planas en conexiones lisas y no sobreaprietes. Realiza una prueba de estanqueidad y repite el apriete si fuera necesario. Mantenimiento: limpia aireadores, sustituye juntas y revisa sifones si aparecen olores o goteos.
Preguntas frecuentes
¿Cómo elijo la medida correcta de rosca (1/2", 3/4")?
La medida es nominal (pulgadas). Identifícala con un calibre o midiendo el diámetro exterior del hilo. Comprueba si la conexión es macho o hembra y respeta el material del sistema (cobre, PVC, multicapa).
¿Qué sifón necesito para lavabo o fregadero?
Elige entre botella o tubular según espacio y salida (pared/suelo). Verifica el diámetro (32/40 mm) y la compatibilidad con la válvula del desagüe. Los flexibles ayudan en espacios reducidos, pero conviene montajes firmes para mayor durabilidad.
¿PVC o latón en fontanería doméstica?
El PVC/ABS es ligero y económico; el latón cromado es más resistente y estético en vistas. En altas temperaturas o uso intensivo, el metal ofrece mejor comportamiento; en evacuación y conductos ocultos, PVC es habitual.
¿Cómo sé qué aireador lleva mi grifo?
Los más comunes son M24 (macho) y M22 (hembra). Retira el difusor y comprueba el tipo de rosca. Puedes elegir caudales anti-salpicaduras y modelos antical para prolongar la vida útil.
¿Qué cortatubos usar para cobre, PVC o multicapa?
Usa cortatubos específico para cada material y rango de diámetro. Mantén la cuchilla en buen estado y realiza el corte perpendicular; desbarba antes de instalar el racor.
