Metallic-chemical anchors
Expansion anchors and chemical fixings for medium and high loads
Metal and chemical anchors are designed to transfer loads directly to the substrate in structural applications on solid concrete, solid brick, or natural stone. Proper selection requires defining the nominal diameter (M8–M16 common), effective anchor depth, and type of fixing: mechanical expansion or chemical bonding.
In chemical anchors, the combination of threaded rod and resin (polyester or vinylester) allows for non-expansion fixings, suitable for substrates close to edges or with smaller thickness. In metal expansion anchors, the tightening torque and the distance between axes determine the final load capacity.
- Compatibility with solid concrete and solid masonry
- Common diameters: Ø6–Ø16 mm
- Minimum depth according to expected load
- Use with threaded rod or structural screw
- Accessories: sieves, nozzles, and cleaning pumps
