Hello. Thank you for your comment, we are glad that you are happy with our dyes.
As for your question about tie dye, we cannot give exact proportions to use for the tie-dye technique because it depends a lot on the taste of each consumer, the size of the container to be used for the dosage and the quantity of garments you want to dye. In the laboratory we have done tests using 5-10 g of dye in 300 mL containers and the results seem satisfactory to us. But even so, it depends on the intensity you want to see in the final garment. (more dye, more intensity)
High temperatures fix dyes better on garments. In any case, since it is done by hand, you can heat the solution well (about 60ºC) and let it cool to apply it safely.
Once the tie-dye is done, it is best to dry the garments in the shade and when you wash them again, it is better to use cold water. They always lose some colour. The longer you wait without rinsing, the better the colour will set. However, it is still normal for the colour to lose during the first washes (we recommend washing them separately). Fine salt helps the colours to set.
Yesterday I tried two of your colors and I really liked the result. I used the black dye in the washing machine and the navy blue by hand and in both cases I am satisfied with the results. Today I have been looking on this page to find the correct proportions to prepare the dyes in jars to use them in tie dye and I can't find the information. Could you send me instructions and the proportions to prepare manageable quantities with manual jars and at what temperature can I use them for this purpose and how long do you recommend I wait before rinsing the clothes so that the colors set properly?
Thank you so much
