Polyester gel coat - Size: 1 kg. - White color. - Polyester-based gelcoat looks like white paint, although it is different from classic paint. - Its main characteristics are: easy sanding, low shrinkage during polymerization and low tendency to form microporosities. Low shrinkage during polymerization protects against the consequences of any excess thickness (cracks, unexpected release from the mold, etc.) and prevents the formation of wrinkles in the case of thin applications. - The easy application of this Gelcoat, combined with its excellent weather resistance, also makes it suitable for all those applications where the Gelcoat will form the surface finish of the part. - Before using gelcoat, the part to be treated must be well sanded, removing all impurities, old paint or damaged pre-existing gelcoat. We recommend cleaning the surface thoroughly with compressed air afterwards. - The surfaces to be treated must be properly degreased and not used on hot surfaces or those exposed to the sun. - It has many fields of application and can be used as an exterior finish for: truck spoilers, refrigerator cells, campers/caravans, canoe interiors, skates, pedal boats, boats, bilge pumps, lockers or any interior part of the boat, exterior finish or touch-up of fiberglass shower trays, both for motorhomes and homes.
