- Measurements: 25x17 cm
- Mandatory blind spot sticker for driving in France.
- From 1 January 2021, all heavy vehicles (over 3500 kg GVM, tractors, rigids, buses, vans, trailers and semi-trailers) circulating in France are required to be equipped with stickers showing the position of the blind spots.
- The measure was adopted by the French government to strengthen the protection of vulnerable users (cyclists, pedestrians, scooter users, etc.) who travel on public roads. It will apply to all heavy vehicles travelling in an urban environment.
- In the decree published on 20/11/2020, concerning the signage that materialises the blind spots of vehicles, its location is specified: it must be visible on both sides as well as on the rear of the vehicle. This signage in the form of a sticker will have a size of 25 x 17 cm.
- They will be placed in 3 positions:
> In front on the right, less than 1 m from the front of the vehicle, at a height between 0.90 m and 1.50 m.
> In front on the left, less than 1 m from the front of the vehicle, at a height between 0.90 m and 1.50 m.
> At the rear of the vehicle on the right, at a height between 0.90m and 1.50m.
