    The current data logger is used to record up to 3 signals of 0/4…20mA. The device stores the measured process flows on an SD card in Excel format. In addition to storing the measured values, the device also displays them on a large screen. The maximum resolution is 0.01 mA. The device operates with 6 AA 1.5V batteries or with a power supply. To view the measured values in real time, this current data logger can be connected to the PC via a serial interface.

    Current signals are transmitted to the data logger via terminal blocks. These allow switching between connected sensors with a mA output relatively quickly and easily. This ensures that the logger can be used universally and flexibly. There is no need to scale the measurement signal, as the measured values are stored directly as mA. In Excel, scaling can be conveniently performed manually.

    Application areas

    The current data logger is used to record the output signals of numerous 0/4…20mA sensors, for example, during pressure measurement or flow rate control. It can easily and accurately monitor, record, and evaluate, for example, temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, pH value parameters, etc. in production facilities with standardized 0…20 mA output signals. Often, customers or suppliers also require proof of certain process parameters, which you, as a manufacturer, can conveniently store as a current signal in the machine. The PCE-CR 10 current data logger can be used almost anywhere a stationary sensor or transmitter needs to be temporarily checked. The current data logger is also applicable to sensors developed with mechanical properties for mobile use. Even as a product manufacturer, essential information during machine operation can be directly stored as a standard signal in the data logger and later evaluated on a PC or laptop. Therefore, these devices also serve for machine monitoring or analysis.

    Adjustment / Calibration

    An ISO calibration certificate can be issued for the PCE-CR 10 current data logger. It is recommended that, by default, data loggers undergo a check, adjustment, and subsequent calibration. The calibration interval of the current data logger is normally specified in the internal quality manual. This calibration of the current data logger is performed in the PCE Instruments calibration laboratory.
